Terms and Conditions

Effective Date: [01/06/2024] By engaging our services, you
agree to the following Terms and Conditions. Please read them carefully.

 1.         Services Offered -
Geelong Electric Scooter Repairs provides electric scooter repairs,
maintenance, diagnostics and related services. We also sell selected parts,
accessories, new and second hand pre owned scooters.

2.         Estimates and Quotes
• All quotes provided are estimates only and may change upon further
inspection. • We will contact you before proceeding with any additional work
that exceeds the original quote. • Diagnostic fees may apply for complex
issues.

3.         Repairs and Turnaround Time • Turnaround times are estimates and may vary
depending on parts availability and complexity. • We will notify you if there
are unexpected delays. • We reserve the right to refuse repairs on unsafe or
heavily modified scooters.

4.         Parts and Warranty
• We use new, OEM, or quality aftermarket parts unless otherwise agreed upon. •
Parts supplied by us are covered by a 30-day warranty unless stated otherwise.
• Warranty covers manufacturing defects only—misuse, accidental damage, or
water ingress are not covered. • Repairs carry a 30 day workmanship warranty.
This does not cover unrelated faults or user damage.

5.         Customer-Supplied Parts • If you provide your own parts, we do not offer any warranty on those
parts or guarantee compatibility. • We reserve the right to refuse installation
of poor-quality or unsafe parts.

6.         Payments • A
deposit is required at the time of dropping off your scooter for repair and a
full payment is required upon collection of your scooter. • After a period of
48 hours of us making contact in regards to your scooter being ready for
collection a $10 per day per scooter will be added to cover storage costs. • We
accept cash and bank transfer. • Scooters not collected within 60 days of
repair completion or us making contact in regards to your scooter being non
repairable may be sold to recover costs (in line with the Uncollected Goods Act
1995 VIC).

7.         Liability • We
take great care with all repairs but are not liable for any loss, theft, or
damage to your scooter while in our possession, except were caused by our
proven negligence. • It is your responsibility to back up or remove any custom
firmware, apps, or data.

8.         Test Rides and Use
• By leaving your scooter with us, you agree that we may test ride it to
confirm faults and check repairs. • Test rides are done with caution and only
as needed.

9.         Safety and Modifications • We may refuse to work on scooters with unsafe modifications or
illegal performance enhancements. • All repairs are carried out with safety and
roadworthiness in mind.

 

10.       Workshop Conduct •
We ask all customers to treat our team with respect. Abusive behaviour will not
be tolerated. • Our workshop is a working environment—please take care when
visiting and obey our no entry signage.

11.       Pet Policy • Our
friendly cat Nikita is often present in the workshop. Let us know if you have
allergies or concerns, and we’ll accommodate you.

12.       Changes to Terms
We may update these Terms and Conditions at any time. The most current version
will always be available on our website, social medial pages and at our
